Approximately 4.8 billion people worldwide lack access to safe, timely, inexpensive surgical and anaesthetic care. Furthermore, 143 million extra surgical procedures are necessary each year to meet worldwide demand. In low-resource areas with surgical care, perioperative death rates might be up to three times greater than in high-resource settings.

One of the key causes of this difference is a lack or unavailability of important biomedical equipment, such as anaesthetic machines, pulse oximeters, airway equipment, sterilisers, and consumables, including catheters, cannulas, face masks, and sterile gloves.

By providing hospitals and healthcare facilities with essential medical equipment, we empower healthcare providers to deliver quality care to those in need.
