Without these opportunities, they are left to work long hours in unsafe environments or depend on inconsistent labor work that offers no long-term security.

In areas where such facilities are not available, people with the skill to weave carpets are often forced to abandon the craft due to a lack of support. BGR aims to change this reality through its Carpet Weaving Initiative.
