$10.00, Palestine Emergency...
Billion people are expected to be fed by agricultural development by 2050
World’s food is produced by smallholder farmers
World’s poorest people depend on agriculture for their livelihoods
Without proper agricultural support, families are left vulnerable to hunger, malnutrition, and poverty. Crops fail due to climate change, poor soil management, or the absence of irrigation, and farmers are unable to sell their produce or even feed their families.
Climate-related shocks such as droughts and floods are increasingly common, making food insecurity even worse. In sub-Saharan Africa, agricultural productivity is only one quarter of the global average due to the lack of investment in agriculture.
BGR recognizes the urgency of this crisis. Our Agricultural Support appeal is designed to uplift struggling farming communities by equipping them with the tools, resources, and knowledge they need to thrive.
