In many societies, the death of a husband not only brings emotional loss but also economic devastation. Widows are often excluded from property ownership, denied inheritance rights, and pushed to the margins of society. In many parts of the world, widows face systemic discrimination and are often left without any means of income or social support.

Studies show that widows are often the sole caregivers for their children and extended families. Without income, many are forced to take their children out of school, limit access to healthcare, or survive on a single meal per day.

We provide widows with vocational training, small business grants, livestock, sewing machines, and other tools to help them start sustainable income-generating activities. With guidance and mentorship, widows learn to manage finances, market products, and build skills that allow them to support their families independently.
