For many vulnerable families around the world, livestock such as cows, goats, sheep, and chickens are a vital source of nutrition and livelihood. These animals provide milk, meat, eggs, and even natural fertilizers for crops.

However, millions of families in underdeveloped regions lack the resources and training to raise healthy livestock. Without access to proper breeding, veterinary care, and feed, their animals often fall ill or fail to reproduce, making it impossible for families to build sustainable livelihoods.

Through our Animal Breeding appeal, BGR provides families with healthy animals, training in animal husbandry, access to veterinary care, and support in building shelters and feeding systems.
